Network and associates

In the event that your project demands multiple facilitators for large-scale programmes, or additional expertise to support your communication goals, I draw on the expertise of specialists in my network.

Here are a few of the talented people who I work with when projects require additional expertise:

Megan Evans

Professional facilitator

Megan is a professional facilitator and trainer, who has a research background and whose expertise is comes into play for groups who want to have better conversations (usually about "hard" decisions) and make decisions.

I involve Megan in any projects where conversations and group dynamics matter, and when we have large groups that need multiple trainers. Over the years, Megan and I have worked together on multiple workshops and programmes for research organisations across Europe.

Rasheed Ogunlaru

Media skills expert

Rasheed is a coach, speaker, and author with extensive experience of working with the media, including traditional media (radio, television) and contemporary digital media (podcasts, video, social media).

I involve Rasheed in programmes when researchers need to develop both the skills to communicate technical content within research-led organisations, and when they also need to develop media skills to engage with journalists and other media professionals.

Dr. Martin Graus

Scientific advisor

Martin is an atmospheric physicist and he provides invaluable insights to ensure that Zirafah's workshops are robust and relevant for scientists and technical experts within research-led organisations.

Although Martin is mostly involved "behind the scenes", his contributions, which draw on both academic and industry experience, help me to constantly review material to make sure that it's the best solution for the people I work with.

Figuring out where the "gap" is: take the survey

We're developing a diagnostic to help organisations identify where research expertise gets lost between researchers and decision-makers.

Help shape the tool by taking our five-minute survey. You'll have the option to receive a summary of the findings and receive an early-bird invitation to use the diagnostic as soon as it's ready.

The Research-to-Decision Gap newsletter

How does research expertise move through organisations? Where does communication break down? And what helps researchers shape messaging that helps decision-makers act?

Every 4–6 weeks, The Research-to-Decision Gap explores these questions through practical examples, observations, and ideas from the field.
